  2. After seeing this and your NIH posts, I can't believe how grown up and strong Bertrand looks! I stumbled onto your blog a couple years ago, after someone sent me a link to the Illustrated Guide to a Ph.D. It has been a pleasure to follow your beautiful family as it grows.

  4. I can't say enough about these photos and how happy they make me just being able to see them :) Winston is a beautiful little angel and I love Bertrands and Victoria's shirts...seriously cute! Bertrand looks like he is 10 years old in the one of you, him and Winston. Love that pic! Your family picture is wonderful and you can see just how happy both you and Matt are with your gorgeous family. Congratulations my friend. I hope you are having a quick recovery and that baby Winston is letting you get some rest here and there.

  6. Congratulations! Such a sweet family. I actually stumbled onto your blog somehow when my husband was searching for Linux-related stuff and found Matt's stuff. I'm a music professor, and have referred students to the "Illustrated Guide to the PhD." I admire your family greatly and the lengths you have gone to for your beautiful Bertrand!
