In keeping with our mission of making sure Bertrand has a full life, we had a wonderful picnic at Liberty Park today! We brought kites to fly, with moderate success:
What happened here was that Cristina accidentally threw the kite into the tree, which made the cord snag. (Stay tuned for the surprise ending.)

I'd like to point out that I asked her THREE times if she was *sure* that she wanted me to throw it. I just figured that she knew something I didn't or had more experience...

Definitely, Mimi is out of practice! I don't know when was the last time she flew a kite in PR, but it must have been YEARS ago! How dare you let her take the lead on this adventure!
